Happy Father’s Day! Just like our fathers kissed and bandaged our boo-boos and kept us safe from the boogeyman, as we age and become more aware, it’s up to us to heal our own wounds. The wounds I’m speaking of are more psychological and emotional than physical, but these wounds are debilitating. These wounds keep us stuck in fear, hatred, anger, depression, resentment…paralyzed from our own power. Our relationships suffer because we’re constantly acting out from our own internal hurt. This hurt is protected by our trying to cover it up, pretend it’s not there–which only perpetuates our pain. Our healing comes from being able to see that we have the power to heal ourselves…and that we’ve had it all along. Our healing can start today.
